Batch update users

Making the same change to multiple user records is best done via the batch user update form:

Access this from File maintenance > users.  Select the users to update and then from the actions bar beneath the list choose update selected users.  Not all user settings are available via this interface, but the most commonly updated are.  Permissions are handled differently, if you want set common permissions to multiple users this is done via a user group.
