David Stevenson -

Below is a link to the matrix of supported accounts packages indicating which Synergist integration features are supported by each

Supported accounts systems and feature list

You can access this matrix from your own Synergist instance by going to the Accounts Link section of Jobs & Organisations, then clicking the info icon:

This matrix lists all currently supported accounts software.  Each column depicts whether or not the chosen accounts software  package supports a specific Synergist integration feature / requirement, these are described in detail below:

Transfer method

The technology used for the transfer of information.  Information purposes only.  No configuration of your Synergist instance is required for any accounts link.

Requires Synergist Connect for cloud

Synergist Connect is a standalone software that Synergist technical support will install on a single computer on your premises.  This software must be able to connect to your accounts database and your Synergist cloud instance.

Create customers/suppliers

Self-explanatory, the integration can be instructed to create mssing customer and supplier accounts as part of the data transfer process.

Additional analysis

Describes the additional analysis entities in the accounts software which Synergist can be configured to send data to.

Post nominal journals

This feature allows sales invoice deferred and / or accrued revenue to be posted to a suspense account.  This removes the need for monthly revenue journals to be generated from Synergist and posted manually into the accounts software.

File attachments

Sales invoice PDF files can be automatically transferred to the accounts software.  This feature is only available to Synergist CLoud subscribers.

Import Purchase invoices/expenses

The ability to import purchase invoices / expenses entered directly into the accounts software, typically from another software package used to gather this data.

Update Purchase invoice/expense status

Self-explanatory, if supported this feature will set the default status on purchase invoices / expenses as part of the transfer process.

Display paid status for sales and purchase invoices

(3) Paid status is only shown on an individual invoice. For other systems, a scheduled process can be setup to obtain updates so that the paid status can be shown on a list of invoices.

Tax code mapping facility available

Self-explanatory, if the accounts package uses non-numeric tax codes, this allows correct mapping of Synergist tax codes (numeric) to the accounts software equivalents.

Number of files per batch

Only relevant to accounts links using CSV files for data transfer.  For information only.

Third party software

Indicates whether additional software is required by the accounts package in question to facilitate the import of a CSV file exported from Synergist
