If time is posted and entered to the wrong job / phase, it is possible to reverse this out or adjust the number of hours. This can be done from either daily or weekly timesheet entry:
Daily timesheet
The timesheet user creates a repeat entry but with negative units to reverse out the mistake. This is done in exactly the same way as entering normal time, just with the minus sign (-) in front of the units. (See 'Entering time' in the 'Daily timesheet entry' category for more information on how to do this.)
It is important to repeat all the original details (including the mistakes) when reversing, such as date / charge code / units etc.
Once the reversed entry has been made, the correct time can then be entered as originally desired.
Weekly timesheet
Hover your mouse cursor over an entry in your weekly view to see a list of timesheets for that day / phase / charge code combination. Click to create a new entry for the same day / phase / charge code.
Click the number of hours in the cell, then click add to create a new quick timesheet. Note the hours can be negative to reverse or correct an entry.
Click save then OK to return to the weekly view, it will show the updated number of hours for the day / phase / charge code you just entered.
Timesheet reversal can also be done for a selection of timesheets via the posted timesheets interface:
