New phases can be added to a job via the Gantt interface - click the plus icon next to the job start / end dates to launch the add new phase wizard. Multiple phases can be added at once using either fixed or monthly dates and descriptions. Choosing monthly allows you to select the dates for the first phase using a month from this year, last year or next year. If more than one phase is being added second and subsequent phases will follow on from this first additional phase.
Note that phase level custom fields can also be set during this add phase process.
