How do I re-order phases for a printed (pdf) quote?

Phases are currently in the wrong order

Resolution:

Once phases are created, it is not possible to change the phase number.

However, you can specify how they are ordered for reporting requirements (most commonly when producing a pdf quote). Open up your phase and click the details tab. You can then set the display order on the right hand side - just enter a number (eg. 01, 02, 10, etc). Your phases will then use that ordering for printing purposes.

 

As long as all your phases are given a display order value, that will be used as the primary sorter for phases.  If multiple phases are given the same display order value, job phase number is used as the secondary sorter.

Instead of micro-managing the display order you can drag and drop a phase to the position you want it to appear in by clicking the six dots icon to the left of the phase select checkbox.  This automatically sets a display order value on all phases:

Switch tabs and switch back to the phases tab:
